    Contractor Tax Questions
    Hi,

    Hoping someone can assist...

We have a contractor that makes $320 a day lives in NY works in NJ -- we bill a client $384 for his services... He would like a raise and we cannot afford to give it to him -- is there something we can do other than a travel allowance (only partially tax deductible for us) that so that he will take home more money and be tax less? Like a travel allowance or something? Something so he can pay less taxes -- but so we as a company are not losing out...

Any ideas would be so helpful.

    Thank you so much,
