I have been taking my pregnant dogs temperature for the past few days twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. I didn't mark the day she and the other dog had mated (I know big mistake on my part. I kept telling myself I'd mark it later on and it just never happened), but I do know around the time she did mate. So I figured she'd be due sometime next week or the following week. So I started taking her temp. It had been at 100 point something consistently and then yesterday evening it peaked at 101.4 and both times today it has been 99.8 and 99.7. I cannot remember if it is just under 100 that labor is near. I have tried to look it up and some websites say anything under 100 means labor is near while other sites say under 98.4 means labor is near. ANyone know which one it is?
