    What is and how does a MONEY MARKET work?
    Hello, in a few months I will be going offshore to work. The pay is great I still live at home, and I'm 21 years old. Im going to have too much money to now what to do with, what is the best way to invest it and get a great return. Thxs

    First a money market account is a bank account that invests in certain mutual fiunds for a higher return. But, at 21, you should be looking at long range growth investments. I would strongly suggest sitting down with a financial advisor to plan a strategy.

I would like to know how they figure the interest on a Money Market account. If my broker tells me my money in my account earns 4.16 % per month. How is it figured? On my Money Market account the interest goes back into it. What figures do I use? Thank you, Susan
