It's a book about a girl and her brother that are orphaned after their parents were killed and house burned down by barbarians. The girl is able to talk with animals and the brother's ability, which we learn near the end, is he's able to manipulate people's free will. After running away from their home they come to a castle owned by a man with the ability to see someone's future just by touching them, he also has a son. After allowing them to live in his castle, the girl finds out that he has young dragons living there too.

I haven't read this book in many years. I think the title is dragon... something and it has, if I remember, a castle on the cover. I've been looking on eBay, Amazon, barnes and nobles, and I can't seem to find it. If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.
