Dog may be pregnant
I have a year and a half small dog, and she was in heat and the neighbors dog is not fixed either. She was going to get fixed in the middle of August, but I found the neighbors dog with my dog a few days ago. I had to go next door and ask the lady if her dog was fixed and she said no. Great right? Do dogs get pregnant every time they mate when they are in heat? And how early can I tell if she is pregnant? If she is pregnant, how long can I wait to get her fixed after she has the puppies? When should I make the "prenatal" appointment with the vet?
