    No cold water
The cold water in the front bathroom shower does not work. The hot works. The hot and cold work fine in the sink. I have taken apart the handle and it still does not work. Can you help me?

    Hey Willy:

Will need to do more than remove the handle here... ;)

You will need to shut the water supply to shower OFF.. then remove handle and face plate and get into the valve so that you can access the cartridge assembly or the washers/stems inside.

Once get inside want to remove parts, PULSE the water on/off to remove sediment/debris in line (something in there clogging things up).. then replace parts, test, and should be good to go.

Do you have a name on the shower valve.. If do, then let me know so I can see if I have a specification sheet on your valve. If I do, it will make it easier to work on.

    Let me know... Mark

Hi, We had a flood in our laundry room earlier today when the aquarium I was siphoning into the nearby sink started to siphon onto the floor instead (the hose came out of the sink and was draining water onto the floor). I didn't realize this, and suspected a leaky pipe when I saw the water...
