On your next job applications, ask potential employers not to contact the previous job because you didn't leave under good terms. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it.

(Question moved from Introductions to a more appropriate topic area. The Introductions topic area is for introducing yourself and we try not to ask questions in the topic area. Thank you!)

This is what happens when we act with impulse, so you were not happy and not believing you were treated right, so what would have hurt giving a 2 week notice?

But at this point this job reference will hurt you for the rest of your working life. So be honest as to what happened but remember for a while till you prove you have better work ethics. What is happening is the next place is talking to them and they are scared you would just walk out one day.
Also it appears you had a difference of opinoin of your abilities also with this company.

I'm going to be rather harsh here. Your complaint is that they weren't giving you higher level work and insulting you. Well all I have to go on is what you wrote here and where you wrote it.

First, you originally posted this in the Introductions area. That area is CLEARLY marked as not a place to ask questions. Yet you ignored that warning and posted there anyway. To get to the Introductions area you had to scroll past all the other forums, including one for Business, which included a careers and job hunt areas.

The reason I'm bringing this up is that you may have an inflated opinion of your own capabilities. Based on your actions here, it seems to me that its possible they weren't giving you work up to your capability and insulting you because you couldn't do the work you think you can.

I'm not trying to insult you, but trying to hold a mirror up so that maybe you can put the blame where it belongs.
