Childhood was fun. I was one of the truly lucky ones when it came to parents. I was an only child and they were the best parents in the world (in my opinion) I will never stop missing them.

The one thing I remember that has so stuck with me. The day of my mothers funeral (she died 6 1/2 months after my dad) a friend of mine told me how lucky I was, she said that she didn't think she'd really care when her parents died. I honestly thought that everyone's mom and dad were as great as mine, my naivete. So the way I look at it is I had my mom and dad for 30 wonderful years, which is better than 60 so-so years.

Earth Day is coming... what changes will you all make to help us live in this beautiful world? I plan on not using plastic bags for my groceries more often and planting a garden and some "stay forever" trees and such! We recycle anything we can so I am going to just keep doing that. I am also going to get my tiny car fixed to save on gas and energy this next week! (Seens how Captain never came to do it, I have to take it to a local fixer guy):):):)

Aww R, I am so sorry for you, I know about migraines sweet. You had them for three days, wow, glad you are feeling better now... This may sound strange R, but I heard of another remedy that may give you some relief; You know those muscle rubs? Well try rubbing one of those on your neck and forehead or where ever, it is supposed to give some relief, hope it works for you?:(

We are going to a friend's daughter's first communion today and a small party afterward at 1 pm. Should be fun, they are nice people and we haven't spent any time with them in a while, AND food!

Yes please try it, I have some arthritis in my hand and I use the same on my neck and shoulder muscles and in about 10-15 minutes it helps a lot. The massage therapist said that she has heard of a lot of people that use it this way for relief... so, maybe it is worth a try for you?
