    w-2 taxes
I worked for a waitering temp agency that paid it's help daily/after each job.
When I applied for the job I filled out a w-4 form, and wanted the most amount of taxes taken out.
When I looked at my stub each check I saw taxes were taken out. I received my w-2 and found they took the least amount out, and that I owe a LOT of $$ for taxes...
Do I have a recourse with this company>?
How do I get them to give me a copy f the W-4 form?
    Thank you

When you fill out the form, you don't just say, "take out the most".

You actually have to indicate how many deductions you wish to claim. The more dependants you claim, the less they with hold, the fewer you claim, the more they with hold.

You should have claimed 1 or zero for dependents, what did you claim?

The fact is, you were paid the difference between your gross income and net income after taxes so I don't believe they employer could be held liable in this case unless they with held based on a different number of dependents than your form indicates.

Then you did not have "the most" taken out - the most would be 0.

There is nothing criminal here, so you work out a payment plan with the IRS or write them a check. And you figure on having more taxes held out this next year. There is nothing that can be done one way or another expect to pay your taxes

Perhaps he didn't see Fr_Chuck answer?

1 will not withhold the most.
