Please help with some insite as to why my ex boyfriend of 2 years won't let me go when he was the one that broke up with me?

We broke up because we were together for 2 years and I was his first real girlfriend/love and I think he was scared we were moving to fast since we lived together, so he wanted so space and to see what else is out there. Im 27 and he is 24 so that is a big factor. I'm not sure if he wants to try again because its still to soon, were been broken up now for 9 months now. I don't know if I would consider getting back together unless he was 110% sure that I'm the one and the grass was not greener on the other side.

If your gut instinct was that he broke up with you to see what else is out there then why the heck would you even consider going back with him?

You were obviously just a stepping stone to 'better things' as you say.

Has too much happened in the time that you were apart to not try and see if you could work it out? If the only reason why you two broke up was that he thought you were moving too fast, then maybe he's ready to commit to taking it slow...

You say "grass was not greener on the other side"... does he have a history of "testing the grass"? If he cheated on you that ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Have you received any of his calls or emails? Are you open to even finding out if he's ready to commit to 110%?

Who knows what his motives are, but one thing for sure, you'll never know without talking with him. That's the only way you'll know his motives, or if he is ready for what you want.
