    Closed probation after 5 years
Is it true that if you are currently on probation and you don't report and get a violation of probation that if you stay out of trouble for 5 years they will close your case and you can't get in trouble for it after wards?

excon I guess we could have had a laugh and sad, "of course" and tell them they just need to go to the police dept where they were orgainaly arrested and sign a form? Would have loved to see the look on their face when the cuffs go on.

This is a case when they did not like the right answer and are belving some folk story or fable and just want to hear they have gotten away with their crime

There is no statue of limitations on violation of parole or probation. Which means you better just get it over with now, cause its not going away.
