    Film coated tablet material.
    I need to gradually reduce the dose of Hyzaar and plavix but both of the tablets have a film coating to prevent disolving in the stomach. If I break the tablet in half it is no longer completely covered by a film.

    Ask your dr to gradually give you lower doses?
