    My amended taxes for 2007
    I was wondering about the status of my amended 2007 tax return. Can you tell me the status and when too expect it?:) :)

    It takes 8 to 12 weeks. After 8 weeks you can call IRS to find the status.

Hello, I have qualified charges for Spring 2007 tuition but I paid in December 2006. Therefore, the qualified charges were shown in 1098-T 2006. I didn't claim it in 1040 2006. Can I claim it by using amended 1040X? Or can I claim it in 1040 2007? Thanks.
