I found a site that claims to have homeopathic remedies for parvo, I posted it, hopefully that will help. It's a race against time though.

Unfortunately parvo is a terrible disease for dogs, and once they've had it they can get it again. The most common cause of death due to parvo is dehydration. I don't know if anything can be done for this pup. Obviously the vet thinks it could, otherwise he wouldn't have offered the treatment. It makes me sad. If I were a vet and someone couldn't afford treatment for their pet, and I new that treatment would work, I'd do it for free, or at least work out a payment plan. Poor puppy.

    Sneezy, are you here?

Please check out this post and see if you can give this girl some advice. I'm the only one who's responded so far and only with info I found on the net. Maybe you can give her better advice and info. Actually, I'm sure you can.

    Thanks sweetie.

    Where's HC?

Starby, the puppy has been euthanized. I did post a few things but it was already to late. Don't be sad sweetie, parvo is very hard to cure, even with a vets help. Are you okay?

Urrgghhh! My computer crashed! Right in the middle of everything. Poor pup :( That's why shelters should never bring in animals that haven't been fully checked and vaccinated first. Sad!

    Cute Panda though! :)

It's sad, but it happens all the time. At least he isn't suffering anymore. I just hope the OP's dog doesn't contract parvo, it's very contagious. If he's vaccinated he should be fine, but vaccines don't always guarantee that you won't catch it.

McDonald's is here, Big Mac here I come, ooh and fries, and a milk shake. Sorry guys, I'm hungry.

    Later.

    ... man I want mickey d's...

    Sad.

Parvo is pretty crazy... it also applies to rats as rats have a disease called the kilham rat virus, otherwise known as rat parvo... about 5 years ago, our lab had an outbreak... so we had to wipe out half of our lab.. . we're good now though.

    RAH!! (sorry guys... random outburst)

I waited too long to prepare for my tutoring lesson tonight... yes, tonight. I was going to do it this weekend, but alas, I chose sunburn over preparing a lesson.

Now, I'm stuck. 3 hours until class and I'm stuck. Rah...
