Replacing old thermostat w/ new digital
I am attempting to install a new Hunter Programmable thermostat. After removing the panel on my old TRANE Model Baystat 239 Weathertron thermostat I found quite a few more wires there than on my new one.

The old one has the following wires:
    X2 black
    O orange
    G green
    Y yellow
    T tan
    R red
    W white
    F pink
    B light blue

The new one has the following wire connection points:
    G
    Rc
    Rh
    Y
    W

My TRANE is a heating and cooling system. The G Y and W wires are easy enough, but what goes to the Rc and Rh points as well as the remaining wires? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Your new thermostat will not work for a heat pump. Return and get the proper thermostat. I would also suggest a Honeywell thermostat which is much better that Hunter.
