    I was convicted of embezzelment;can I legally hold a real estate license in CA?
    I am working on turing my life around. I am currently making resitution back for the embezzelment. Can I legally hold a real estate license in CA. My conviction was about 6mos ago.

    I doubt it, I will "assume" the conviction was for a felony. If you are convicted of a felony you will have to get permission from the real estate commission before you can even take their test.
    This is one of the charges looked at very closely since you may have access to clients funds.
    So personal guess, no you will not be allowed one.
