    Doll from the 70's
There were two dolls I remember having in the early 70's. They were quite tall... maybe a foot and a half, and looked a little like big barbie dolls. I think their names were Chrissy and Velvet. Chrissy, I believe had blonde hair, and Velvet had red hair I think. They came with combs and brushes, and maybe some other hair accessories. You could push a button in the middle of their back to make their hair shorter or longer. I just remember having fun doing their hair.

Does anyone remember these dolls and what they may have been called? I think there may have also been another doll named Cinnamon.

I would like to find one to give to my niece!

Thank you so much firmbeliever! Wow, did that ever bring back memories just looking at the pics. Sure takes you back when you see childhood toys doesn't it? I forgot I also had the doll named Brandi, and I had baby crissy too, and I remember my sister got mad at me one day and cut all of Brandi's hair off! I was so mad that I pinned her down and took the scissors to her hair. Oh boy was I in trouble with Mom. She took me upstairs and cut my hair above my ears (my hair was down to the middle of my back) Until this day I still grow my hair long and watch the hairdresser very carefully, LOL!

Anyway, that was probably more info than you needed to know, haha. I'm glad I am able to order a doll. My niece loves playing with her dolls hair, so I know she will enjoy it.

    Thanks again for the link!
