    Recommned number of antivirus/ antispyware programs
    Is it harmful to my computer to have more than one antivirus/ antispyware programs?

    Yes it is harmful because they work against each other and cancel each other out.
    Norton is really bad one to use.
    You want a firewall and the antivirus.
