Hi I'm 18 I don't know how this all works I'm new but I am a single guy who is trying to get custody of my 14 yr old sister who my dad kicked out. How would I be able to do that because I do not want her to get taken away from me by the law. I have been supporting her for about 1 month and a half and my dad is already threating to have the police go and take her away from me. Can you all help me. Thank you.

Your dad could report her as a run away, and have her bought home.

Also where is the mother in all of this

But you will need to hire an attorney and apply to be appointed guardian.
