Hi, I am a 13 year old female, but I am quite mature for my age. I know this is probley going to sound silly to the adults that read this, but I haven't had a boyfreind in some time now and I've allways gone out with older boys because the ones my age are immature, I wouldn't go out with anyone older than 16 though. But I am starting to feel desprete, any one who flirts with me I fall for straight away, and I just won't someone to be there to have acuddle and kiss now and then... any advise?

Not at all. You are getting to the age where you like to have that someone who you can talk to and keep you company. Just make sure that they have the same intentions as you, because most guys that are 16 and such only has one thing on their mind. And one little mistake could change your whole world. Oh and don't look over some of the guys your age. There might be a few who are mature, maybe even one of your best guy friends. At that age, the nice guys will become friends with the girl he likes just to get to know her better and her to know him.

Sweetie, of course its not silly. You're a developing young woman that wants to be and feel cherished. Its not wrong to feel such things. Its all a part of growing up.

I would second the_gentleman's caution though... (and I'm sure you already know this, but it bears repeating)... sometimes guys take advantage of a girls need to feel cherished. Just be careful.

Just remind yourself that you deserve to be cherished and treated like the princess that you are... don't settle for anything but the best... your knight in shining armor, if you will. Don't let your want for affection drive you into a relationship with someone who can't appreciate your maturity. And don't always pass over the guys your age. Yes, they can be immature, but you may find that perfect guy, right next to you. (for the record... its not always about age... I'm in my late twenties and some guys act like they're 13!)

We all have our thoughts to this. You are being very mature and bright with asking about this, I applaud you.
I'm 34 and what I've seen with kids now a days, they don't seem to really mature till somewhere in their 20's. Yes, I could be completely wrong, but all the 'kids' I meet are very immature for their age.
You are at an age where you are going to want that 'other person' with you. However, remember, you've got a many years ahead!
One way to find a mature man, be yourself. Don't dress in scampy clothing, I always wonder why girls do that then get upset when they are only looked at for their body. I don't think you will find a 'mature' boy under the age of 16, but I don't know.
One thing I've found, boys with single mom's seem to mature quite well and early. Not all, just most.
Never expect too much, you have to give just as much as you get.
Just remember you're 13 and you've got a long road ahead. Enjoy being single!
