Is it worth trying again after 10 years?
When I was 10 I split up with my boyfriend as me and my family were moving away. We had been together for 2 years, were childhood sweethearts and best friends! I am now 20years old and have a 5 week old baby but I am not with her father and haven't been for 8/9months. Since I moved away when I was 10 I have always thought of him(my ex from 10years ago) and how he is, what he is up to etc. Just after my baby was born I managed to get in touch with him and was surprised he remembered me,and to hear that he had been missing me as well. Now we are always talking on msn and texting but haven't yet managed to see each other again. We have both told each other how we feel. There is one problem though-we live 2 1/2 hours apart. He has said that he wants to get a transfer at work down to where I live and has also said he will look for somewhere to live down here. Would it work if we tried again and even if he couldn't move down here, how would the long distance relationship work? I can't stop thinking about him and get butterflies in my stomach all the time when I think of him. Please help!

Take is SLOW!! Sure - why not get together - it's only 2 1/2 hours away - meeting on the weekend will allow travel time to and fro and still some good quality time in between... or meet 1/2 way, if that's an option.

Rushing into an intense and intimate relationship would hurt your future, you both need to take it slow and make sure you both click... maybe you are meant to be together... maybe you are meant to be best buds - rushing into anything can ruin any possibilities.

This is like a new relationship... you get butterflies - you are excited about the possibilities - he probably feels the same way... but the newness WILL wear off. Take time to get to know each other as adults - both of your are much different than you were at 10 years old.

    Good luck!
