    Does 2wire have wi-fi?
    I am getting a macbook in a few weeks and I want to know if my wireless system(2wire) has wi-fi.

    You didn't say what wireless device you have, so visit 2Wire.com, locate your product model under the product section, and read the specifications.

    For a wireless device to not be Wi-Fi complaint, it would have to be really old, pre 802.11a or b, or support only a wireless technology proprietary to the vendor.
