Hi, I am On L1 visa during 2007 have SSN. My Spouse is in india and do not plan to join me but she has SSN which she has got during her last visit. Will we be able to file returns jointly. She is working in india do we need to show her income when filling returns. Thanks Ramesh

Hi, Its my understanding that you cannot e-file if you are filing Jointly for which you do not have your wife's ITIN. However, if I go to a TAC center, and get the ITIN for my wife, can I then e-file my taxes. Thanks, dbacks3449 View more questions Search
