    ITIN number
    I am on F-1 visa and have applied for ITIN for my spouse, if I don't get the number by April 15 how would I file the NY STATE TAX refund?
    Please advise.

    On F1 visa you can file joint return?

    For NY state return, you will apply for extension and file only after you get the ITIN.
