    Picture problems
I have a 32" Phillips television approximately six years old. The picture problem is one side of the TV is purple and the other side is green with the middle having a normal picture. Sometimes the picture is normal, but then wavy lines come across the screen and then the colors get distorted as mentioned above. Any remedies for this or is the tube shot?

You could take it and try to have it repaired, but chances are it would be cheaper to buy a whole new set. I am not positive what you should do, hopefully the TV expert will come 'round and help you out.

I have a JVC l'art 32" T.V. Model #AV-32FA44. I now have a problem with a green hue invading the screen from the left side. It only takes up a small part of the left side of the screen. It appears sporadically, seems to fade away, and then returns. Is this a precursor to big 'tube' problems..
