    Quit claim deed expiration
In 2003, my husband and I split up and he signed a quit claim deed, which we had notarized. Our house was bought 2 years earlier with my pension for the down payment, so he only paid his part of the mortgage for two years. What he asked for was 5,000.00. We refinanced our house, and I gave him the money, had the quit claim deed notarized. He was unable to find an apartment due to bad credit, and he had straightened up (drug abuse), so we made a go of it. However, after a recent overdose, and his abuse is up again, there is no marriage left. My question is "How long is a quit claim good." I never filed it, but still have it. Can I still file it? I live in Arizona. Thanks.

Yes, although you are suppose to file it as soon as it was written, it does not expire, so you need to file it.

I have a major problem with a quit claim deed that was done regarding my father's property. However,...
