Central heater comes on when thermostat is on OFF
My 2nd floor heater has came on 3 times when the thermostat is on OFF. Only thing I changed was the filter 2 weeks ago. Battery is fine.

This problem occurred 2 years ago in the summer time and I had the dualzone circuit replaced. Now it's happening again.

Basic info: I have dual zone, 1st story is fine.

Problem with Carrier Central Heater [ 8 Answers ]

Central Heat will not come on unless I flip the breaker on and off in my garage. Then it will stay on until it reaches the temp set on thermostat. Then it shuts off and will not come back on, unless of course... I trip the breaker again.
