    Adopting my 17 yr old brother
    I am an american citizen by birth and I have a brother in nigeria who is 17 my father is dead and my mother is disabled I would like to find out if I can adopt him so I can take care of him.

    Consult an attorney who has experience in international adoption.

    You will need an attorney for this anyway, for adoption papers to be drawn up, and for citizenship issues.
