    French J1- + 2 years in US
    I have been in US for more than 2years in August 2007 so I have to fill the resident taxes I guess ?
    But by treate I'm not supposed to pay taxes for 2 years so up to August 2008 so I don't understand how I should filled the taxe in purpose to show that
    If I put my W2 statement it show that I how a lot of money can I deduct my 1042S from my W2 and fill my taes with this number ?

    Depending on your visa, you may or may not be a resident for US tax. Check this first to determine whether you need to file a 1040 or a 1040NR.

    Whether you are a resident or not, you may qualify to exclude from your income your earnings under Article 20. The way you do this varies depending on the specifics of your situation but the result is the same.
