100 or 200 amp electrical service
I am building a new house and have asked for 200 amp service. What is the cost difference and what are the pros and cons of doing this?

If it's a new house, then a 200A service is normally the norm, I see no reason why you should be asking for it!

Agreed. DO NOT even consider a 100 or 150A service. I don't care how small the house is.

Why are you coming here asking the cost difference? Wouldn't your builder have more accurate information?
