    Donation given in India
    Dear Sir

I am resident of USA. I have donated some amount to charitable trust registered in India & donations to the trust have tax exemption in india. As I do not have any taxable income in india, can I claim any exemption for this donation in US ?

If this is deductible or not, more information is needed?
However, note that donation deduction are allowed only if you itemize your deductions. You will itemize only if your itemized deductions are more than standard deduction.
