    Need clarification on First year choice
    HI,

    I am married and came US on 4th Aug 2007 from then I am continued to stay in US. My wife and Kid (1 year old now) joined me on 12th Oct 2007. Can I submit my 2007 tax returns as resident alien by using First year choice.

    Yes (if you have work visa), you can file resident tax return after you meet SPT in 2008. You can also claim deduction for your kid.
