So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost two and a half years.
In the beginning he wanted sex once or twice a day.
Now I'm lucky if he wants it twice in a week.
I've tried everything- sexy outfits, dirty talking, role playing, and the Kama Sutra for crying out loud!

I ask him what changed and why his sex drive is so low.
He SAYS: He still loves me, he still thinks I'm sexy, he still needs me- he just doesn't want sex a lot and most the time he is "too tired".

You always hear about women saying they are "too tired"--- is it normal for a man in his late twenties to have such a low interest in sex?

I think this is normal, for him especially if stress or tiredness is the inhibitor or if you are fighting yes men sex drive can decrease, It can also decrease if you are putting pressure on him of wanting sex all the time, in actuality its not the quantity of the sex but the quality I rather have mind blowing amazing sex once a year than have bad sex everyday. Also know that sex is an extended affection of your emotions, and try not to associate the sex with love, just because someone wants to slow down with having sex it doesn't mean that they love you less, or are not attracted to you. Anyway, I've been down that lane especially when I was younger before I had children I thought that if I didn't have sex all the time that my relationship was failing, and I lost focused of what was important.. Intimacy can be cuddling, kissing, and flirting... doesn't always have to involve sex...
