    Pool pumps
Which is a better above ground pool pump? The Cartridge filter kind or sand filter kind? Is a 19" SAND FILTER AND 1.5HP FILTER A GOOD ONE FOR A 24FOOT POOL?

If you look long enough you may find someone who thinks they are both great. I much prefer neither and go with a diatomaceous earth filter. Sand is cheap and cartridges are easy but expensive. Diatomaceous earth is not expensive and easy to recharge.
