    John Deere 160 blade clutch
My John Deere 160 mower blades do not engage when I flip the switch. There is power to the blade clutch so the switch is good. Can the clutch be rebuilt? Also does anyone have parts diagram they can scan?

No, replace the clutch, you can not rebuild. Try and find a used one.

Mowerman is correct, it must be replaced. Are you wanting the part# or how to replace it

Web site "www.jdpc.com" has all JD part #'s and diagrams you may print. Search for your model then define by details.

I have seen this problem before and traced it to a broken wire on the starter clutch itself. Sometimes it worked and others it didn't. I agree with the others. If it happens again replace the clutch.
