Could I have your opinion on this?
We got a puppy which is 8 weeks old from a guy yesterday whom we nicknamed Bella because she was the color of the bella hardwood floors.

We got her home and found that she had two ticks on her that were embedded in her and also that she was INFESTED with fleas. We gave her a bath in flea and tick shampoo and went and bought her a flea collar and put it on her neck. We used tweezers and pulled the ticks out of her and dropped them in gasoline to kill them. We pulled I know a CUP of flea eggs off her and that was only the start. She still had a lot more on her. All day long, all she did was lay around and sleep and just wasn't active like a puppy should be. Well, I made a post on here and asked what to do and I was informed to take her to a vet to get treatment. We weren't able to afford it because we are college kids that commute to school, so we found a family friend that agreed to take her and she said should would take her to the vet this morning.

That gives you a little bit of background info, because the next question is a "what do you think I should do?" or "Do you think I'm wrong or right" question?

The guy that we got her from also had 3 other puppies running around, 2 dogs inside of a makeshift dog pen, one dog running around, and one tied to a tree. We saw no water for the puppies anywhere, and the dog food was on top of their rigged up doghouse where they couldn't even get to it.

So here is the ultimate question out of this whole post. Who here agrees with me that I should call the animal control and report what I saw and have them do an investigation of these dogs in hopes that they can get better living environments or do you think I should just leave it alone and hope that things get better at that guys house and just forget about the dogs? Please let me know.

Call animal control and explain the situation, maybe they will go out there and take the dogs away for care and a better home.

Absolutely call animal control. You generally don't have to give your name. Things seldom get better on their own. The animals can't call for help, so you need to be their voice.

Call, call, call! These animals need someone to help them, guess what, you are that someone. Please call, they deserve better than this.

I agree with the others , definitely call. If they are OK and nothing wrong with the environment no harm done.
But if they find unsuitable conditions you will have saved the Pups a lot of pain and suffering.

I've been swimming at the university pool since July and sort of known this boy. It took him a couple of weeks of saying 'hi' and chit chat to ask for my number and ask if I wanted to have lunch (that was August). Although we agreed to meet up (weeks later), he didn't show up... and had some...
