    Lights out
    The garage ceiling light and the garage door opener suddenly quit working. The wall receptacles still work and all other electricals in the house work. The circuit breakers are fine and I don't see any GFI attached to these electricals. Any ideas?

    The word of the day is "open" -- one of the wires that goes to light and opener

    Is separated -- since it is not shorted out there is no reason for breaker trip

    It is possible there is a break anywhere from panel to garage -- I had a breaker

    Trip today -- very difficult to see -- did not move very far... Do you have your

    Breakers marked to make it easier to check wires without power on??

    I would check at garage operator receptacle, Switch box, or last working receptacle next to defective ones.
