How are you supposed to play through the fire and flame on a real guitar?
Hi people, just wondering how it is possible to play through the fire and flame on a real guitar, I looked it up and the notes are quite insane, I really need some help on this one:confused:

Do you mean the dragon force one? Why are you insane?

Eep! That's difficult! How's your playing already?

If I were to suddenly loose all sense and want to play this I would
    1) practice your scales and get them really fast- I find this really helps for a lot of metal.
    2) try and find a pedal/sofware that will let you slow down a song without altering the pitch.
    3) Get a metronome, you just can't be a sloppy player with this kind of thing. Learn it at quarter speed and then practice a lot until you can inch up the speed.
    4) get really good at tapping out scales up and down the neck and across it aswell- there is tons of that going on.
    5) Break it down into chunks and learn a little bit at a time.
    6) Buy the tab don't get it off the internet because internet tab is usually awful. Seriously there ust be tons of tone deaf people out there just imaging the tab up.

Do you have a guitar teacher, because I would really suggest that for this kind of playing.

You can see a bit of how the guitarist plays in a few close ups on this vid.

Watching how a guitarist plays really helps me get the knack.

I don't really know Dragonforce songs that well but the above are steps I took to learn Metalica and Breed77 songs. It worked really well until I stopped playing!

PS check out some Yngwie Malmsteen and subscribe to a good guitarist magazine and they teach you loads of cool techniques.

EDIT and practice 3-4 hours a day at least if you can.

Hello me again. I just got my boyfriend (10x better guitarist than myself) to have a look at the track. He said that to get a lot of th sounds to play that right you would need a harmoniser rack which is super expensive. You should still try and learn some but don't be dissapointed if you can't get it to sound the same.

Check this out though Herman Li shows you how to get some of the cool sounds effects.
