    There are many free good programs available.

    AVG has a good one, there is also a good one called AntiVir.

    I would try to disable your current protection if it is not able to detect and remove this, download one of the other free options, and see if it will remove it. Then, you can decide to keep what you had for protection, or, change over to the one that works.
