    Cost accounting
    How can I determine overhead cost and direct labor cost when the information given is

    Direct material biggining and ending month balance

    Work in process bigginning and ending month balance

    Finished goods begginning and ending month balance

    I have cost of goods sold, amount of direct matrerial purchased during the month and that is.

    Can anybody help me?

    Hmm,. man overhead and direct labor come in during the work in process. You can find those too togther, by taking the amount transferred into WIP + the begin WIP then subtract what was transferred to Finished goods.

    Post numbers to make it a bit easier.
