Is it wrong to NOT be attached to people?
When I think about it, there is not ONE person in my life I'm attached to. I can pretty much live on my own. But does that mean I'm crazy, dysfunctional, or strange? I can talk to pretty much EVERYBODY, but I don't get attached and I find myself thinking that I can 'live without them.'

Nope. Just means you're independent and you enjoy your space.

I'm somewhat sort of like that... except when I was attached to my girlfriend (now my ex... )

... so yeah. I'm attached to my dog. Does that count?

Oh, okay. ^_^ I'm not even attached to my closest friend of 7 years. O_o
I don't know about dogs, lol. ^_^ It's okay to be attached to a beloved pet, I believe.

Actually that is a good place, first you can live on your own if you want, but people should all get to that place, and then find the person they want to be with, not find a dependent relationship

I think its very healthy to be self sufficient to a point. As long as you enjoy the ones you like, when you do see them.

Wrong?? I'd say detachment is a godsend. I'm always like this in the beginning--cool, calm, collected.

Wish I'd stay that way ::grumble::
