I have a new glacier faucet in my bathroom that's only 3 months old. The hot water faucet has very low pressure. Could you please tell me if it is a defect or if a part needs to be replaced.

Probably not a defect but could easily be crud in the mixing valve, hot usually goes first. We are going to do two things to get you going again. Lets start by attaching a hose to the water heater drain at the bottom. Put the hose into a drain and twist the valve open and allow to run for a few minutes, now close it down and shut off the stops under the sink (supply valves). Next step is to clear the mixing valve. Remove the handle and then the cartridge. I have not done a Glacier so I can't be specific on the removal but others may help. Usually once the handle is removed you can see a collar or hex ring that can be unscrewed, pull up on the cartridge, it should not require too much force since its only been in there for a few months. Clean away any debris and hold a towel over the valve body. Have someone open the stop for a moment while you hold back the rush, this will clear more debris from the line, shut down the stop and reinstall the cartridge. You should be good to go.

Here is how glacier bay said to remove the stem from shower:

"How do I remove my old valve stem?

"Shut off water at the supply stop. Remove the faucet/shower handle (usually by popping off the top bezel, sometimes by loosening a setscrew on the side of the handle). Use a wrench at the BASE of the stem and turn counterclockwise. This also works for removing the entire cartridge assembly, which is sometimes necessary to remove the stem. Repair, replace the stem and reverse the above by turning to the right. Don't forget to turn the water back on".

I would also follow Ballenger's advise on purging valve by covering with towel and pulsing the water for a second or two (hot and cold if you have integral stops)
