You go to the pet store and you purchase a flea shampoo for puppies. You give him a bath in it in a large bucket or tub. If he still has fleas you can give him a second bath or take him to the vet and get a flea medicine that will kill the fleas and keep them away like "Frontline".

Call the vet( I think this puppy is still a little too young for Frontline or Advantage), but they may have something you could use. If you purchase an over the counter shampoo, be very careful to read the label to be sure it can be used on a puppy this age.
Regular shampoo and a flea comb will help some (the shampoo helps drown the fleas). A trick is to make a ring of shampoo suds around the puppy's neck first thing--otherwise the fleas will all run toward "dry land" on the pup's head! When the coat is wet you can see the fleas better and a fine comb will help tease them out of the hair. Be sure puppy doesn't get chilled!

Home remedy for flees on dogs. Works every time.
A home made remedy, won't kill the puppy. I know it sounds silly, and I'm not a vet, but I have always just used Dawn Dish Soap. Not the kind with bleach or anti-bacterial. I realize it is not the best for the oil layers of their skin, but it always kills flees. Never has it failed me.

Lather him up, leave on for a few minutes, thouroughly rinse and dry. Voilą, fleas gone, puppy alive. We live on a farm, and old home remedies often have to be used in a pinch.
