    Hot water slow in whole house
    For some reason my hot water in running very slow in my whole house. Cold water great pressure but hot very low. It is this way upstairs, downstairs through the whole house. I turned the hot water off at the pressure breaker drained about 5 gals. Of water at T&P valve of the hot water heater and also turned cold water off before I drained. It was a bit dirty but only for s few seconds. I turned the cold water back on then the power and still is hot water is still running slow. HELP!!

    Hi FRN:

    Tell me.. how long has this been an issue? Then I can better advise you.

    The flushing of your water heater should be done with the cold water flowing full pressure and a hose attached to the boiler drain (at base of heater) that you turn on full open so that you FLUSH the system clear of debris/sediment under pressure. Do this for 5-10 minutes... should help some.
