    I'm being dued
    :mad: My exhusband got a credit card when we were married and had me co-sign for him... Now I am being sued for his card... I don't know what to do... we have been separated since 03 and divorced since 06... Does anyone know what I can do?? :(

    This may be a problem because the credit card account should have been set to close after you two divorced. Most credit card refuse to take off a co-signer instead then would close the account. As the co-signer that was your right.

    The divorce decree would have stated what portion you were responsible for. It this point I would contact a lawyer. How much is the debt for?
