How to bleed ABS brakes on 1993 Lincoln Town Car
I need to bleed the brakes on a 1993 Lincoln Town Car Signature series. I was told that you must first bleed the ABS box or valves in a certain order before bleeding the lines. How do I do this? What order from the box or valves? Brakes are spongey now from air in the line and the ABS light is on in the dash. Need help please!! Thanks.:)

Follow normal procedures and bleed brakes in this order: RR, LF, LR, and RF. Use Ford HBH-rated ABS approved brake fluid; e.g. Valvoline SynPower Brake Fluid. After you bleed the complete system, take the car out on a safe street and apply the brakes hard enough to engage the ABS. This will change the brake fluid in the internal ABS reservoir. If you want, change the fluid again afterwards. I change brake fluid every 24 months.

    Check for codes.

I have a '93 MPV (rear ABS) that is displaying some odd braking behavior. When I pump the brakes, the pedal travels slowly to the floor (it goes farther with each pump) until it bottoms out. Then the idiot light comes on. When I release the brakes, the braking returns to normal and the light...
