    8 GB SimpleTech Mini Drive
    This two month old drive is used as a back up for excel, word and powerpoint files. It is not full by any means. I've been able to retrieve data until today. My computers do not recognize the drive at all. When I plug it into a USB drive the mini drive light glows and the characteristic "ping" is heard but the computers don't recognize the drive in the "My Computer" database. How can I retrieve my data?

    So when you open My Computer, there is nothing to indicate that it is on drive E or F?

    It is possible that somehow the driver got deleted or is corrupt.

    Try going to the web site, and see if you can download the driver there. If you already have it, it will tell you when you try to download.
