I have outlets in three rooms not working
I need advice... Yesterday all the outlets in my house were working. Tonight, we noticed that in three rooms that there where outlets not working. I have gone outside and switched off and on all the circuit breakers. What could be my problem and how might I fix it?
    Help please...

The problem could be a open in the wiring --- a good place to start is testing

Each breaker and make sure that they all have power going out of breaker--

Terminal where wire ties into breakers... Tracing wires is probably the next

Step -- start at outlet closest to the breaker panel and you should find the problem

I was talking to an electrician the other day about a similar prob. He said if the outlets are wired in a series that the outlet first on the circuit could be bad and its not letting power go to the other two. But I'm no electrician. Just ran into the same prob with one of my friends. Not sure if it fixed it

Turn off circuit breaker. Remove one of the outlets that does not work. See if it was wired using the little holes in the back where the wire is just push in. This type of wiring is known to develop bad connections after a period. If outlets are wired this way remove wiring and rewire using screws.
