    Ex girlfriend
Me and my ex girlfriend dated for just over 4 years and then she broke it off with me. She gave me several reasons to why, some of them were she needed time for herself and to see what else is out there. I feel the relationship ended because it was a busy time for both of us in our lives and our relationship got somewhat boring due to that. She claimed she still loves me but I think that may have been to let me down easy, and wanted to remain friends. She is not currently in a relationship with anyone, although I don't know if she's talking to anyone. There is not any hatred among us but we haven't talked in about a month and a half. I have had time to reflect on our relationship and decided to make several changes in my life that would help to improve any future relationships I might have. My problem is that I still have strong feelings for this girl and would like get back together with her in a couple months (dont want to rush it) and see if things work out differently, if not then I'll just move on. My question is should I try and contact her and slowly begin to try and get back with her or should I wait(let her date someone else) or forget about it? Thanks for the input.

This is a great answer, and if I could add:
I would stop concentrating on the who, what, when, where and why about the men she's dating and concentrate more about yourself and the girls "you're"going to date.
