HP PSC will not print, or prints blank?
    Hi,

This is probably really stupid, but I recently moved and since the move, my printer (HP PSC 1315 all-in-one) will not print, or it prints blank pages. Ive always had it connected with a usb cable before (thats what it came with) and now, it will only print blank. When I go into printer properties, test pages print blank or not at all, check ink levels tells me that the computer cannot establish a 2 way connection with the device. What am I doing wrong? Yes, the printer is connected to a power source, and the computer. Does it matter which port? Drivers? I don't know much about ports and drivers... someone please help! Im desperate! (PS-I don't have the disc, my x won't give me those, and he was the guru before)

    Thanks!

Sounds like the cable is damaged. Try replacing it.

If its not the cable then it may be a problem on the port at eother end. Try a different port on the PC. If its not the port on the PC< it may be on the printer.

First make sure you can print a test page from the front panel however that might be done.

What is your status right now, please?

When you go to the printer's properties (by right clicking on the printer icon), what do you get back on the screen? Is the printer configured the same as the screen shows it to be?

Have you been to HP's website for a new driver?

Have you removed the printer and then connected some other device to the USB port to verify that the port is working properly?

What has changed since the last time it was working, to your knowledge?

I'll check the HP Website to see if I can find anything of interest for you.
